To apply for a flexiworker, select the button below ‘Client: Apply for a Flexiworker’ and send it to EURflex.
After receiving the completed form from you, we will contact the flexiworker to start the registration process.
We aim to process all applications within two days.
A work permit (TWV) is required if you wish to employ a flexiworker who is a resident of a country outside the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland.
If the flexiworker is already in the Netherlands and has a residence permit (this is often the case for international students and asylum seekers), EURflex will apply for the work permit.
VBefore applying for the work permit, EURflex will request information from you about the nature of the work. This information is necessary for the work permit application, which will take the UWV a maximum of five weeks to process.
This means the latest start date for the employment contract will be five weeks after the application is sent to the UWV. With this in mind, it is important for a non-EU flexiworker to be registered on time and for the flexiworker to submit the required information to EURflex on time.
It’s legally not allowed for someone to start to work as a flexiworker without a valid work permit and a signed employment contract. Doing so might jeopardise their resident permit and study.
Once EURflex receives the work permit, a copy will be sent to the client and the flexiworker.
EURflex is responsible for the payroll of flexiworkers at Erasmus University Rotterdam.
