SALARY AND PAYMENT
ENTERING YOUR HOURS WORKED
EURflex Konnekt is a web application you can use for creating your timesheets. You can also use EURflex Konnekt to view salary slips and your annual income statement for a period of up to 2 years earlier.
You have to personally enter the hours you have worked into EURflex Konnekt. You can save a timesheet if you want to modify it later or send it to the supervisor for approval. Once it has been sent, it is no longer possible to modify a timesheet.
After you have created a timesheet in EURflex Konnekt, your supervisor will either approve or reject the number of hours you have worked. EURflex will pay your salary based on the timesheets approved by the supervisor.
APPROVAL OF HOURS WORKED
After you have entered and sent the hours you have worked in EURflex Konnekt, they have to be approved. Your supervisor is responsible for approving your hours. You can view the status of a timesheet of hours worked in EURflex Konnekt.
WHEN IS THE SALARY PAYED OUT?
If you have chosen to be paid weekly, then your salary will be transferred each week on Tuesdays. EURflex pays out the hours worked each week on Tuesday, provided these hours have been approved by your supervisor no later than Monday before 16:00. If you have chosen for payment every four weeks, you can view the schedule below listing the weeks when payment is made.
The payment dates are listed below:
I HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY SALARY. WHAT IS THE REASON?
Have you worked but not received your salary? Use the following step-by-step plan to find out the cause of the problem:
- Check EURflex Konnekt to make sure you have created and submitted your timesheet. If you have done this, proceed to step 2. If that is not the case, please send the timesheet in question now.
- Check if and when your hourly timesheet was approved by the person responsible for granting approval. If your hourly timesheet was approved before the Monday 16:00 deadline, your salary will be paid out on Tuesday. Depending on your bank, it may take a few days before this transfer appears in your account statement.
- Have you not received your salary even though you correctly submitted your approved hourly timesheet before the abovementioned deadline, and have you specified that you wish to be paid weekly? Please contact us by email or telephone or come by our office. We will try to resolve the problem for you as quickly as possible.
You can see how and when you can contact us under ‘Where to find us’.
PROVISIONS AND EXTRA REMUNERATION
Your provisions for holiday leave accrue with every hour worked. You can view your accrued provisions on your salary slip. In EURflex Konnekt you can see this as your holiday hours balance. This balance is stated as a euro amount on your salary slip.
For each hour you work, you accrue a provision for holiday pay. This provision is 8% of your gross annual salary. Your holiday pay is paid out in the last week of May/first week of June.
You are personally responsible (according to your own preferences) for any pension arrangements and/or insurance provisions for surviving dependants. You will bear the costs for this type of insurance. EURflex will make an amount equalling 2.6% of your gross pay available for this purpose in the form of extra gross salary.
CLAIMING TRAVEL EXPENSES
If you travel on official business for EUR, you can claim these costs using the ‘business travel expense’ form. This form must be signed by your supervisor. You can then submit the form with the original receipt or invoice to EURflex.
WHERE CAN I FIND MY SALARY SLIP AND ANNUAL INCOME STATEMENTS?
You can view a digital version of your salary slip and annual income statement using EURflex Konnekt. An explanation of the salary slip can be found in EURflex Konnekt under Links.
Overtime must be discussed and approved by the supervisor in advance. Overtime only applies if more than 40 hours are worked in a week. These overtime hours are claimed using the Overtime form.
