Before you can become a flexiworker, we will need to prepare an employment contract for you. Your supervisor at EUR will contact EURflex, after which EURflex will contact you by e-mail to start the registration process. It consists of a few steps, which are both explained in the e-mail. Besides these steps, we also need a scan of your identity document (a passport or ID card and, if applicable, a residence permit).
We will prepare an employment contract for you once all steps have been completed, and we have received a scan of your identity document. All steps can be completed, signed and returned to EURflex digitally.
EURflex Konnekt is the portal to declare your hours worked. In addition to registering hours and various links, you will find all information about payments, reservations, salary statements and annual statements.
Have you had an employment contract via EURflex before and has it expired?
In this situation, we will ask you to check the personal data known to EURflex and update if necessary, so we can make sure that your file and the new employment contract contain the most current information about you.
If you currently have an employment contract with EURflex and an assignment is being added to it, you will receive a new confirmation of assignment.
Simply sign and return this confirmation of assignment digitally. Your new assignment will then be added to your EURflex Konnekt account automatically.
You work, or are going to work, for one of the faculties/divisions of EUR. As a flexiworker, you will be employed by EURflex, which makes EURflex your formal employer. EUR, or EUR Holding BV or EE Holding for which you are going to work, is your actual employer. It is also referred to as your ‘client’.
The agreements made between a flexiworker and EURflex are set out in an employment contract. It consists of the Payroll Agreement (general terms and conditions), the Statement of data for payroll Taxes (income tax and social insurance contributions credit) and the Confirmation of Assignment (details about the assignment, position and terms and conditions of employment).
Flexiworkers who are hired via EURflex are given fixed-term employment contracts. These contracts are on-call contracts. The minimum number of hours is always 0 and the number of flexible hours for which a client can call up a flexiworker is the number of hours between the minimum and the maximum (to be determined by the client). The fixed-term employment contract is entered into for a specific period of time, which could be several months or longer. The fixed-term employment contract will then end. It thus ends automatically and no further action will be required by the employer/client or the flexiworker.
The contract can be extended but only if the terms and conditions on the succession of fixed-term employment contracts in Section 7:668a of the Dutch Civil Code (Burgerlijk Wetboek) are met. This regulation makes it possible to give a flexiworker three fixed-term employment contracts for a maximum of 36 months.
